SALARY: £30k pa (pro rata part time)
HOURS: Full Time (40 hours) OR Part Time/Job Share (with occasional weekend or evenings required)
ABOUT US: This is a new role at our established (1992) equine veterinary practice based in the rural heart of the Cotswolds. Our aim is to be one of the best practices around providing the highest standards of care to our clients and being at the leading edge of diagnosis and treatment. We are a small professional team, friendly, ambitious, and passionate about what we do. To support our ambitions and continued growth we require an Office Manager who will ensure our administrative support is both highly efficient and always delivers exceptional customer service.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Office Manager will supervise the administrative team, maintain the effective operation of our office systems and deliver excellent service to our clients. You will be responsible for the performance of critical business functions such as invoicing, creditor management, stock control of vital medicines and equipment, insurance claims and the confidentiality of all our client data. At the same time, you will be innovative and look to introducing improvements to our business processes to make us more efficient.
ABOUT YOU: This job will suit someone with either existing experience of managing a team in a small but busy office or who can demonstrate they have the potential to take the next step into a management role having acquired sound administrative skills. You must be proficient in software such as Microsoft Office and have experience of invoice/stock control packages. An effective communicator both verbally and in writing you will demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. The practice is busy and therefore you must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks for yourself and others, meet deadlines, manage customer expectations whilst working collaboratively in a team environment.
